What we do
Inspired by the arrangements of the sensational Postmodern Jukebox, "Swing Version" are an exciting, fun and dynamic band, playing modern songs in a vintage swing style. Their incredible musicianship, along with infectious dance beats and inspirational reworkings of pop classics have garnered them a cult following in their hometown of Dublin, Ireland.

Wearing high-impact vintage style clothes, the band are a unique & impressive style of entertainment for weddings, corporate events, upmarket clubs/pubs, & the perfect band for Gatsby theme parties, or any event requiring a Gatsby, Vintage, or Peaky Blinders Theme Band. They are available as a 5, 6 or full 7-piece band for large parties, or a smaller set up of a piano bar duo, or a jazz trio/quartet for intimate events or drinks receptions, or solo piano for dinner entertainment.

‘Like A Version’ played at our wedding in Ballintubbert house over the June bank holiday and we could not have hoped for a better band to add such an incredible atmosphere to the day. My wife works in entertainment so music was incredibly important to her. Padraig played jazz piano during our drinks reception, and everyone commented how fun and vibrant it was.
We then had the full 7-piece band for the party section of the evening. They were incredible. They had everyone up dancing from start to finish - you had to fight for a place on the dance floor. Their energy and talent was amazing.
From first enquiry, to booking to the early hours of our wedding night they were a dream to deal with. We would recommend them to any newly engaged couple or for your next upcoming event.
